The Tübingen-based real estate fund and asset manager Verifort Capital has taken over the asset and property management for 18 properties. These were previously managed by the insolvent Verianos Group.
Verifort Capital is responsible for the entire asset and property management for all properties as well as the subsequent possible property sales after the value enhancement measures have been completed. The 18 properties with a total lettable area of around 28,000 m² are spread across three companies that are not affected by the insolvency of the former manager Verianos. The majority of these are commercial properties, such as the “La Vie” shopping center in Bad Homburg, Hesse.
“In the past, we have continuously proven that we can implement the asset and property management of the real estate in our own funds efficiently and in a way that adds value, and we also offer this expertise in our new public fund ‘VC Value Add Plus’,” says Frank M. Huber, CEO of Verifort Capital. “However, we also offer our comprehensive real estate expertise as a service to third parties. With this mandate, these investors will now also benefit from our professional management and our extensive ESG expertise for commercial real estate.”
